The Ontario Music Festival Association recently recognized one of our clients, Matthieu Cameron at a ceremony held in Waterloo, Ontario. We wish to pass on our congratulations to Matthieu as he continues to pursue his musical ambitions.

We did a photo shoot with Lindsay Foley. Many of these images will be featured on our Fashionography website as we continue to develop it. Lindsay is also back in the studio working on a very special song.

Callie Pittico returned to the studio to polish up one of her songs with the final vocal track. She's back to continue working on her other original songs. We also did a photo shoot with her.

Cathleen Lorraine is planning to come next month to record many of the GODI lead vocal tracks which will bring the CD to about 70% completion.

Lindsay Foley accompanied me to a business group where I presented the studio and had Lindsay perform a song live. Afterwards, Lindsay came to the studio to start work on another new original song.

Jonny Yumang dropped by the studio to do some tweaking on his two songs, which he is heavily promoting to radio and other sources.

Callie Piticco was in the studio, where we tweaked and re-recorded two of her songs, adding a new arrangement. Final vocals will be recorded soon.

Lindsay is back in the studio, performing more of her own tracks. In addition to the vocals, she played guitar on a recent recording and is proving to be quite the drummer.

We've been busy creating an artist page for each of our clients. Each client page includes an artist profile, song samples, photos, videos and links to other artist pages. We provide this artist page at no cost for our clients.

Vocalist and composer Jonny Yumang returned to begin work on his second song with us. We got all of the arrangments and instrumentation recorded and his next visit will result in the final vocal tracking for this tune, another very memorable song by Jonny.

Our own music project, GODI, has been progressing nicely with over 3/4 of the songs composed and ready for final vocal tracking. We thought it was time for a new logo, and this one carries a bit of a sword theme in the lettering to go along with the Crystal Dreams story. Vocalist and composer Jonny Yumang began work on the first of his own compositions, a mix of hip-hop and soul. Jon has a wonderful voice and is expected to be laying tracks down on a regular basis!

Louise Goddard came by to begin work on some hypnosis CDs. It was a very relaxing and different experience recording over an hour of guided meditation and neuro linguistic programming dialogue. We're adding a music track to the vocals to help create the right mood.

Today we had a photo shoot with EarthGrrl, shooting outdoors in a nearby forest. The mosquitoes were nasty, yet we were able to capture a lot of very nice photos to be used as promotional images. Work continues on the first EarthGrrl CD.

Lindsay Foley was back at Fingerman Studios, recording an acoustic version of a song she recently sung on stage with Quebec artist Boom Desjardins.

EarthGrrl was here again, and we'll be shooting some photos next week in addition to more work on the music. Stay tuned, as the CD will be a joint effort resulting in better lyrics and her own spin on the melodies.

EarthGrrl is back in the studio beginning work on the first CD. The EarthGrrl project was begun in 2008 as a series of songs written from the perspective of a young woman. After a two year search, we have finally found our EarthGrrl who is now hard at work on the project with us. Please see the 'Projects' section for a sample of the music.

Matthieu Cameron returned to the studio and did an amazing job of 'Cry Me a River'. My challenge is to play all of the backing tracks for this fantastic arrangement of the big-band classic. Matthieu's version of the song has plenty of wow-factor, everyone who' se heard this is left with nothing to say except 'Wow!' (NOTE: This song will be featured in the Clients' section once production is complete)

A young French vocalist, Kim Savage, stopped by the studio to record three French songs for a demo CD. She has an amazing voice and says she'll be back again to record some English songs as well.

A very talented young vocalist, Callie Piticco came by with three of her original songs. Tracking began as we provided the instrumentation for her songs, and she will be back soon to record the final vocal tracks.

A singer songwriter named Scott Robinson recorded the first two tracks of what will develop into an entire CD of his original music. His music talks about the places he loves in Northern Ontario. These are upbeat and fun songs, but someone who had an obvious passion for nature, our province of Ontario, and creating music!

A talented singer-songwriter named Frank Stanley has sent us a CD of his songs and we're gradually recording all of his tracks to prepare for his visit to lay down the vocals. For each song, Frank sends us his guitar track and we build the arrangements around that, adding one instrument at a time.

I have begun working with singer-songwriter Charlene Roy to produce a full CD of music. This involves some arranging, performances on many instruments, recording the client's guitar and vocals, and final production and mastering of this very special CD.
